2015 Coaching Staff



Mark Weber

Mark Weber enters his third summer with the Arvada Colts. Weber has experienced much success as the Colts’ skipper and looks to continue the success this summer. Weber has quickly become a household name in Arvada and in the Denver metro area with his astounding coaching tactics. The 2014 Colts won the RMBL regular season and postseason title and advanced to the NBC World Series in Wichita, Kansas.

Prior to the Colts, Weber spent three seasons at Regis University as an assistant coach. Prior to his time at Regis, he spent one season as an assistant coach at Upper Iowa University. Weber is a 2010 graduate of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa where as a senior he was second on the team with a .368 batting average leading the Luther to a 25-18 record.  The four-time letter winner led the team with four triples as a senior.  Weber ranks ninth in Norse history with a .344 batting average and is tied for the school record with 11 triples.  He had 115 career hits and ranks in the top five with a .521 slugging percentage.

Mark Vig

Mark Vig enters his first summer with the Arvada Colts. Vig comes to the Colts after spending the last two seasons with Regis University. Vig will assist head coach Mark Weber with all aspects of on-field Colts operations and will also manage the pitching staff.

In the 2014 summer, Vig was the Head Coach of the St. Charles Captains of the Lewis and Clark Baseball League. Vig was awarded the 2014 LCBL Tony LaRussa “coach of the year award”. In the summer of 2013, Vig was involved with Colorado Sports Inc. baseball summer camps in the mountains. He also was a coach with Colorado Academy summer baseball camps. Mark coached in the Yankton Baseball Association from 2009 to 2012. In 2010 and 2012, Vig also worked with the Kansas City Royals “Pass it on” summer clinics.

Vig graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in 2013 with two degrees; a B.A. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Sports Management. Vig is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree from Regis University in Organizational Leadership (MSOL).
