The Arvada Colts won their home opener by defeating the Parker Toros 18-1. Game night, held on June 3rd at Long Lake Ranch, started with Arvada Fire Protection District’s Drum and Bag Pipe line performing the national anthem which was sung by Arvada Fire’s own Scott Pribble. The city of Arvada Mayor Bob Frie threw out the Colts inaugural first pitch. The Colt’s Bradshaw Perry dominated the mound and held the Toros to one run.
