The streak continues! This past week the Colts have added six more wins to their record, making it 14  straight. The week began with a game on Tuesday against the Colorado Sox, whom are second in the RMBL (behind yours truly), in which the Colts won by a close score of 4-3. Friday night was Safety Night at Long Lake Ranch, welcoming in members of the Arvada Fire Department and featuring a beer garden for the first time this season. The Colts played the Sox once again and won another close game with a score of 4-2. On Saturday they hit the road for a double header against the Black Bears, winning both of those games as well. Showing no signs of slowing down, the Colts finished the week by shutting out the Colorado Pirates in back-to-back games on Sunday. Collin Belk pitched a no hitter in game one, while Trent Maloney allowed just one hit in game two.

This is another busy week for the Colts, starting off with a game against the Denver Bats on Monday at Arvada West High School. The Colts will then play five games in just three days beginning with a double header in Laramie, WY against the (other) Colts. On Thursday they’ll play at Golden High School against the Grizz and head into Friday with another double-header – this time against Impact Sports. After a well-deserved day off, the Colts will round up the week with a game against the Black Bears on Sunday. Both Friday and Sunday games will be played at Long Lake Ranch, and game times can be found at ArvadaColts.com.

There will be plenty of chances to watch the Rocky Mountain Baseball Leagues hottest team this week, so come be a part of the action as the Colts try and extend this amazing streak.
